Indian classical music performance and Indian dance drama”Ramayana”
Venue: Kemigawa Shrine

Access:1 min. walk from “Kemigawa” station on Keisei Electric Railway Chiba Line
★In the underground guest hall, you will be able to enjoy the performances of Indian classical music and a part of a dance play on the theme of Lord Rama, who is also associated with Diwali.
Afternoon session >>> 13:30 doors open , 14:00 start
Evening session >>> 17:30 doors open , 18:00 start
Fee: 3,000 yen each (1,500 yen for high school students and younger)

Makiko Jikihara (Odissi), Aya Aragaki (Odissi),Taro Terahara(Bansuri), Koki Yoshida(Sitar), Eri Yamaguchi (Vocal), Shiori Ishida (Tabla)
★In honor of Diwali, bamboo lights will illuminate the premises of the Kemigawa Shrine.
★Kitchen car stalls from local shopping street will be also there!

Popular Indian movie “RRR” will be screened!
★Indian snacks will be sold!
★Costume play is welcome!

CLOSING EVENT India Festival

A festival where you can enjoy India in its entirety!
Venue: Sayado Hall, Chiba City Museum of Art
Address: 3-10-7 Chuo, Chuo-ku, Chiba City
Access: 15 min. walk from JR “Chiba” station, 5 min. walk from “Yoshikawa Koen” station of Chiba Urban Monorail
Please use public transportation as parking is limited.
On the stage, you can enjoy shows and demonstrations of Indian dance, Indian music, movie dance, etc. There will also be a corner to experience Indian culture, Indian food and Asian goods.
Music and Dance Stage:
Doors open at 15:00
Concert begins at 16:00 (scheduled to end at 19:00)
Admission Fee : 1,000 yen
(High school students and below: 500 yen, preschool children free of charge)
S seat reservation: +2,000 yen
Reservations are required for seats with a good view of the stage (S seats).

Part 2: Indian Movie Dance (SUNDARIS and others)
Part 3: Indian Classical Performing Arts (Kathak, Nao Tsutsumi, Others.)
★Wear Indian costume and enjoy the event.
Costume rental (sari, etc.) and dressing charges 1,000 yen
*It is possible to participate on the day of the event if there is space available, but it is safer to make a reservation. Let’s take pictures in the photogenic hall (designated as a cultural asset by Chiba City)!
